- Clean entire area around the DUST seal.
- Use a small screwdriver to assist in sliding away the DUST seal, exposing the OIL seal.

- If OIL seal has a spring around it, gently roll it away with the screwdriver.
- Clean entire area around OIL seal. (Contact cleaner, tootbrush, towel).
- Carefully insert HOOKED ENDof SEALMATE TOOL between the seal and fork tube. This should be inserted approximately 1/2" deep. We recommend using lubrication.
- Gently rotate SEALMATE around fork tube making sure that the HOOKED END is the leading edge.
- After a complete rotation, CONTINUE rotating SEALMATE as it is being removed.
- Reassemble OIL seal spring and compress several times. Wipe off any excess oil. If OIL is still leaking, repeat the process starting at step #5.
- Return DUST seal to original position.
